Would You Listen to Barbra Streisand Duets With Rihanna And Adele?
We know we don’t write about Barbra Streisand on this site very often but reports are saying that the musical legend may be teaming up with Adele, Rihanna and other current musical sensations for a duets album sometime soon.
A anonymous source online explained, “Streisand has been approached by label execs to record an album of duets with young, hip artists, including Adele and Rihanna. Industry sources say the move would aim to [boost] Babs’ appeal with more youthful record buyers beyond core Streisand fans.”
The singer reportedly recently signed $30 million dollar contract with Sony so it would make sense that the label would try to replicate the success that Tony Bennett achieved with last year’s Duets album which featured collaborations with current stars such as Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood.
